Using Pod Organics
What skincare can I use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Our range is made for pregnancy, the weeks after birth and your baby's first year. Every product is a cosmetic, not a medicine, and we don't make treatment claims about any of them.
If you have a skin condition, you're under a doctor's care, or you're unsure about a particular ingredient, check with your midwife or doctor first. We'd always rather you asked.
Where do I start if I'm pregnant?
Most people start with the Nipple Cream & Belly Butter. It's the smallest thing we make and the one that gets used most.
After that, the Stretch Mark Oil for a changing belly, and the Magnesium Body Cream when your skin feels tight and dry.
Where do I start for a newborn?
The Baby Wash and the Baby Lotion cover almost everything in the first year.
Add the Baby Butter for the dry patches that turn up on cheeks, knees and elbows.
Can I use the baby products on my own skin?
Yes. They're made for delicate skin, and plenty of people use the Baby Lotion on their own hands and face — particularly in the first months, when your own routine gets very short.
Will this prevent stretch marks?
No, and we won't tell you otherwise.
Stretch marks come down to genetics, how your skin stretches and how your baby grows. No product prevents them, whatever the packaging says.
What our Stretch Mark Oil does is keep your skin nourished and comfortable while it changes, which is worth something on its own.
Do you do gift sets?
Yes — built around a stage rather than a shelf. Pregnancy, the first bath, the first weeks, and the part after birth nobody warns you about.
What's in it
What's actually in it?
Australian native botanicals do most of the work.
Kakadu Plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana) is a small green fruit from the north of Australia, and one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C found in any fruit. Quandong (Santalum acuminatum) is a native desert peach. Lilly Pilly is a rainforest berry.
Every product carries its full ingredient list on the pack and on its product page. If you want to check something specific before you buy, email us and we'll tell you.
Can I use these if I have a nut or soy allergy?
Some of our products contain oils from nuts or soy. The extraction process removes most of the allergenic protein, but traces can remain.
Every ingredient list is on the pack and on the product page. If you have a known allergy, read it first and check with your doctor.
If you'd like us to talk you through a particular product, email us and we will.
Is it vegan? Do you test on animals?
Yes to the first, no to the second — across the whole range, every product.
Both are certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia: Vegan-Friendly Certified™ and Cruelty-Free Certified™.
What certifications do you hold?
We're certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia. Our most recent audit was June 2026.
The certification covers five standards: Australian Certified Toxic-Free®, Made Safe™, Allergy Certified®, Cruelty-Free Certified™ and Vegan-Friendly Certified™.
Each product is assessed and licensed on its own, rather than the brand being certified as a whole. If you'd like to see the certificate for a particular product, email us and we'll send it through.
Are your products scented?
Yes, naturally — nothing in our range is unscented.
The scent can shift a little over time as the botanicals meet air and light. That's normal, and it isn't a sign anything is wrong.
Where is it made?
Formulated, tested and made in Australia, in Sydney, New South Wales. Australian made, Australian owned and Certified®.
